THE STORY

The Salvage Bar is a richly textured space, existing between times. SuperTallPaul, our colorful narrator will help guide the souls who find themselves on this island, through the unknown.  Surrounded by remnants from the past, each with its own story and character's reliving their connection to these cryptic fragments. The performers of the night are the hosts of the environment.  The show is all around you.  The atmospheric music gives nod to the swing era with a unique adaptation of electronics provided from those who find themselves here from a not too distant future.  Beauty, Comedy, Music & Art; the night unfolds like a dream.  And as you depart, you might think that perhaps it was...

7pm / Live Music

Mix and mingle with the most exciting minds of LA and enjoy music, bar food and a full bar! Happy Hour starts at 7pm.

9pm / Variety Show

Theater company called 'The Hothouse' that has produced dozens of shows will provide the entertainment for the night.  This special night will feature several of their performers who will enact a few short vignettes during the night while our narrator sets the scene and leads the audience through their story.  These stories will be written to incorporate items of decor that make up the Salvage Bar.  SuperTallPaul will be the host of the nights performances that will include live looped jazz, dance pieces, skillful acts, magic, and comedy.  

10pm - 11:30pm / DJ

The DJ of the night will be spinning Electro Swing!

ABOUT THE VENUE

Constructed of reclaimed materials from the Roosevelt Residences (what charm!), Salvage is the recently opened Downtown haunt with Carrara marble slabs and windows from the 20s. Plus, there's a full bar sporting specialty creative cocktails and a delicious bar menu to tickle the taste buds on their covered patio, where the Roosevelt Ghost may make a guest appearance.

Make sure to check that your lot stays open late! There are many public lots in the a two block radius. Here are a few, or find more here:
$5, $6 - Hope St between 7th and 8th
$7, $8, $9 - Flower St between 7th and 8th
$9 - Wilshre Blvd at Grand

ALSO: Yellow parking zones are legal after 6pm.

NOT recommended: any lot between north of 7th and west of Grand is insanely expensive ($13-$45), so stay away unless you want to valet.
